I reckon we're waiting for the salary cap to be announced and see if a few teams need to offload some decent players. We held out for a centre last year when they were being shuffled everywhere and we ended up with the best of the lot.

I am really hoping this is the case, and if so it could be a master stroke because there hasn't been much out there that suits what we need, it would be rather forced.

Here's hoping we get lucky like we did with Jennings in the case of a forward.

Not sure if mentioned but the lurker has said that the raiders have cap problems trying to offload players.
Clay Priest was dangled in front of the Tigers and Eels recently but both said ‘no’.

Ricky Stuart would love to perform a cleanout to shake up his under-performing troops but the cap issues will prevent that.
