I dont get to read the forum much during the day now ... then when i do i am 10 pages behind the rumours thread so i wanna have a scan through n see if there is anything interesting - but there are just wads of dribble from some newcomers ... ive never felt the need to put ppl on ignore no matter how annoying they are, generally just scroll past certain peoples posts ... but i reckon ignore might be worth a shot

just use the ignore function and you won't see it

It's somewhat peculiar that men have to announce they need to use the ignore function to everybody. It happens on other forums as well. It's like a concocted signal to the village that they should have control over it's population even if they are in reality no more important than the village idiot.

Glenn, please let me offer you some free advice that ive offered to fellow esteemed forum member Pantsuit.
If you dont like somebody elses shitposting, put them on ignore then you dont have to see their posts and everybody is happy.
Its the shitposters who are the heart and soul of most forums, im just a blow in here but its long term shit posters who keep this forum and every forum alive.
Without them forums die, this forum has a great option to ignore which the Filthy_Spammers platform doesnt have, its a great option to keep everybody happy.
The shitposting and having a laugh with the other shitposters is the only reason im here.

I don't mind shitposters but there were pages and pages of totally boring stuff from ITM and Pou. ITM is still posting boring shit but Pou is good for a laugh most of the time and has some good insightful posts when lucid. He is also good for a stir by me and others from time to time. But thanks for the advice WWotW.

A lot of us like a joke and that's what makes this place good but if you don't have anything sensible to contribute you've got to know when to shut the f**k up and let people have serious league conversations. I'm sure there have been times in the past where some of us (including myself) got the balance wrong, but it appears much worse lately thanks to a handful of semens.

Looks like the cheating of the cap is starting to unravel, just a little. Manly mentioned again (also for match fixing) but there are several other clubs that come immediately to mind. Penriff for example, Gould said their cap is full and then signed Rein and Kikau amongst others. The usual suspects Broncos, who seem to be signing half the NRL players including some in demand English back rower with cap impunity. Roosters to a lesser extent. In fact nearly every club is probably cheating to some extent except probably Knights and hopefully Parra. Even Titans, to my mind, have assembled a decent squad and then signed Hayne on top for somewhere between $800k-$1m without shedding players.

It shows that audits will vary rarely pick up cheating, it has to be a whistle blower. Funny Seaweed only had a change of heart when sacked, apparently doing some stuff the board had no or little knowledge about - btw who taught him all these things?

Also if widespread cheating is going on will NRL get involved or ignore? I say ignore as they don't want the integrity of the cap bought into disrespect and how nearly every club is cheating.
