What those guys didn't do was inspire a religion. It's a fundamental and overwhelming difference. They were just business as usual, albeit unusually successful. They reinforced our animal nature of observation and exploitation. They didn't change the paradigm of what it meant to be human.
You also seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of the span of recorded history.

Sumerians, Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, the Chinese, the civilisations of the subcontinent and Africa....all polytheistic, and some existed over 3000 years before monotheism took hold. Judaism is pretty much the oldest major monotheistic religion and it's about 2500-3000 years old, the Sumerians started "recorded history' over 5000 years ago ffs.

The Egyptian Dynasties alone existed for over a thousand years longer than Judaism has from their beginning to their end. They were polytheists. When Judaism took off about 2500 years ago, the Romans and the Greeks were still largely polytheistic for another 750+ years.

But tell us all again how monotheism has "dominated the majority of recorded history"....lol

I made clear I was talking about the religious tradition founded/rediscovered by Abraham, allegedly 4000 years ago. There is relatively f**k all recorded from before that time, and most of it has never been translated. They are the writings of dead cultures.

Dear oh dear, I didn't expect a lot when Kearney had guys like Chris Hicks, Jordan Atkins, Carl Webb and Paul Whatueira in the squad, but I reckon they looked better than this mob running around at the moment. Not sure what the answer is...

Actually most Old Testament scholars view the Hebrew scriptures as being compiled during and after the Exile in the 6th century BCE.
