Who says NRL aren't favouring the grubs at Storm. From Thursdays game Niukore is facing 2 match ban for crusher tackle. Now I saw the match and can't remember ANY Parra player being penalised for a crusher, but do remember the 2 Storm players with crushers. Oh, and the 2 Storm players, nothing to see here. And the deliberate use of the shoulder of NAS to Niukore's head, almost nothing to see here also, a $750 fine. If N Brown had done the same he'd get 2-3 weeks, guaranteed!

The NAS decision is just plain wrong. Absolutely no intent to use his arms just launched into Niukores face with his shoulder. No way it wasnt intentional. What did the MRC not see that everyone else did including the referee and bunker? Disgraceful incident and decision worthy of 4 weeks minimum. Compare that hit to Procters so called bite. It beggars belief.

I agree with Lingard i think 6 in his best position but last year he did take some massive steps to show he can be a 7 that leads a team around the park and one that can lead a team deep into a finals campaign. We did score a lot of tries off kicks and teams seem to be defending much better against them. Since the calf injury he seems to be going back into his old ways, less patience and more side ways running and less straightening of the attack.

Absolutely disgraceful by the MRC.
So the Bunker reviewed it on the night and deemed them crushers, put on report and penalties awarded.
When they reviewed the game did they just fast forward past those grubby incidents? Or left the room to grab some water?
How can there be such a disconnect? I really don't get this.
This again highlights how far apart refs, video refs, mrc and judiciary are.
A complete overhaul is required to eradicate the inconsistencies. They should be closely aligned with the interpretations of the rules yet at the moment seems like there is liitle communication and consistency.
Wasn't a comms issued a few days ago about penalties for crushers?

The point is our guys stayed down to make sure the ref noticed the Storm's grubby tactics. But because of this the former players on the MRC assumed nothing happened.

The thing is, the two aren't mutually exclusive. Milking a penalty doesn't mean there was no foul, it means you don't want the merkin to get away with it. This is what happens when you can't punch merkins for foul play.

That was far worse than Brown's careless hit on Radley where he got 2 weeks. Understand Brown had carry overs but NAS is no clean skin either...complete balls up with the way it has been handled...Like they are scared to punish a few teams...melb scum being one of them.
I truly believe him, Cooper Johns and Vete should all be suspended.
Tom Eisenuth was sailing close to the wind in a lot of tackles too.
