I doubt it as well, this was the same board that re-signed him after a 60 point hiding after coming off the wooden spoon. They should have a short list of who is available and who is capable of doing the job. If they aren’t they shouldn’t be there in the first place.

But by then he’d won a comp and had a couple of minor premierships, what had Bea achieved?? That was the year their captain was caught humping a dog and they’d let go Jennings and Maloney. It was the poor year they had to have. In 2018 we were one of the premiership favs and it was an utter disgrace that roster won a spoon. The only bigger disgrace is the fact we are still arguing over him and that he’s still here.
If was a disgrace, but impressive how quickly we recovered.

for a club that has a committee of 5 for recruiting players, I doubt any mail that Flanagan is on the way, without running a selection process, is anything other then crap!!

and by all reports BA is still coach and under contract. Thus I doubt the board has initiated any selection process!!
I'm sure at some point before the end of the year they'll look at it, because a decision needs to be made on whether to offer an extension.

we (LU) got very busy when this was coming to light and we had to moderate a lot of posts that were either bullshit, or just not reliable sources

of all the MSM articles that I read, I was not convinced he had full knowledge. I am not saying he didn't know the players were juiced up, but the advice he was given by some reputable people may have been an issue in all of this with regard to its legality or otherwise

Not saying he was definitely innocent because I don't know and was not privy to everything, just not sure he was 100% guilty either, we may never know
I guess its an individual decision and that must be respected but I pose this question.
Did BA know Mennings was juiced? Recent events highlighted he had other problems as well. Dont forget both Penrith and The Chooks moved him on.
Was he aware of all of Forans issues given his Manly tenure? Im sure he knew both their histories. Was their full disclosure with regard to these players? These blokes got a second chance and some a third chance. Id rather Ciradlo if BA were to be moved on but id be prepared to back Flanno given hes an ex Eel. Its all very exciting.

FFS, never even spoke to him.

Olakau’atu has been one of the many excellent young stars who have shot to stardom for the Sea Eagles this season.
The 22-year-old has terrorised rivals on the right edge. Manly skipper Daly Cherry-Evans is only half joking when he describes Olakau’atu - all 196cm and 112kg of him - as “the scariest man in rugby league”.

NSW coach Brad Fittler is a fan, and confirmed he was about to bring Olakau’atu into the extended squad ahead of Origin III, only to realise Manly did not have a bye that weekend.
Sadly Saturday night’s rivals, Parramatta, never rated Olakau’atu and snubbed the Fairfield junior not once but twice from their Harold Matthews and SG Ball sides.
