We need to play to our strengths, which are yardage and kicking. We also need to avoid our weakness which is defence, and that means completing sets and forcing the opposition to make tackles.

Most of those teams are doing it without their spine enjoying the advantages our spine has. Those teams don’t necessarily have better spine players than us either. The Broncos and Cowboys certainly don’t. Neither do the Rabbitohs if you take out Latrell who has missed nearly 10 weeks of the season.

Like me, @Soto was only pointing out the risk of signing Keary with his recent concussion record. I am not seeing anywhere in his post or mine where we've mentioned giving Moses a million a year, or even re-signing him at all for that matter....

EDIT - I would add that I think Keary is a f**king great player and if he wasn't so prone to concussions in recent times, I'd offer him big dollars...

Most players that look at that spine will view it favourably and then all we need is to sign a coach that knows how to use them the best way and knows how to build a squad around them. None of this one dimensional bullsh*t crap. With a spine like that then all we need to make sure is we focus our attention on defense like the Cowboys did this off season. With a spine like that it shouldn't be to hard to convince a decent up and coming dummy half to come and play at the eels either. With a spine like that a premiership is possible.

imo Moses is worth $1m to us. We don’t have a better option in our juniors, there are no better options on the market. He’s the leading try creator in the comp, and a goal kicker. With the cap they way it’s structured I think he’s 100% worth that

So because there is no better option we should pay him 1 million and possibly lose a player or 2..

f**king bullshit. Back it up merkin. There is no market mechanism that would pay him that much. He would've been on close to the minimum at the Roosters. The length of the contract doesn't dictate how much a player is paid.

Prove that it wasnt. You give the guy that signed Watmough, Foran to mega deals when everyone knew they were busted way too much credit.
