Even with Melbourne out of the picture, St George weren’t winning the comp with Nathan brown or Steve price as coach. Bennett was the icing on the cake.

true Pou but imo the Munster has a bit more xfactor about him, whereas Mitch relies heavily on his kicking game

I think we probably have the most cap invested in a halves pairing of any team in the comp - possibly only Storm with Munster/Hughes may be close..

But I’d rather both of them be playing for us than against us, and the other options on the market were rubbish or would have been total gambles that could have gone either way.

There is no doubt that Mitch/Brown have a great partnership, and Moses only said in an interview today that Brown signing long term had a massive bearing on his decision to stay too.

At the time we signed Moses the demand would have been the same. But also the Tigers are more likely to overpay, as they are a weak/desperate club. The obvious implication of this is that players signing at Wests are more likely to be motivated by money, and willing to take the top offer to play for a weak club.

Why would anybody mention it. They had a team illegally stacked with stars. Hardly a fair comparison.
