Thats why I have no respect for that aspect of the game and hate the prominence bombing has in the game.

It depends on the bomb. The ones that require placement so as to allow the chasers to pressure/contest the ball take a lot of skill, especially to minimise the risk of kicking out on the full or giving away 7 tackles. Bombs that are designed to just cause a bit of chaos on the last are easier in a sense, but then kicking a spiral bomb very high is difficult to do consistently, especially under pressure.
