Your "Backups" in reserve grade should have the potential to be first grade players, otherwise you are wasting $$$ and time. Zac Cini has been tested in first grade and will never make it, thats the difference....keep him there as long as you can.

Actually the ones with NRL potential cost more, which is why every club has nuffies who will never be good enough for first grade.

The Broncos have 30-year-old Delouise Hoeter in their top 30. You might remember him from his stint at the Tigers. Was never a first grader, but if he was he would cost more than the Broncos can afford to pay him. Cheap nuffies allow you to spend more elsewhere in your cap. And if you think high potential youngsters are cheap then it would be great if you could convince Ethan Sanders of this.

I'm sure they're being paid the same too. We already have NRL quality outside backs, and even Dunster (another backup) would be on more than Cini. Moses and Drown would be on more than Brooks. What use do we have for a player of Brooks' quality and price? That's the gap in your club's roster, not ours.

There is no Brooks sized gap in our roster. Tigers have Sezer, Fainu, Sullivan, Galvin and Luai available for two positions in the halves for 2025. Brooks would be 6th choice so......yeah.

Definitely hasn't. I would have expected one of the two to have progressed through to being at least capable of holding down a fringe role but it hasn't happened.
