Madge and BA are not in the same league as coaches.
I don't believe BA would get a gig coaching NZ or NSW. I know people who know Madge personally. I will find out in the next few days if there is any truth to the rumour if at all.
Madge is coaching NSW this year. I don't think there would be any interest in coaching parra for the rest of this yr if the board was to punt BA.(which I don't think they would do anyway)
The appeal with having someone like Madge is he's coached NZ, NSW (this year), was assistant at the Raiders last year. So he could have some pulling power there.
I'd still prefer Wayne Bennett but I don't think there is anyone else better if Wayne says no thanks.

BA has to go straight away, period 😘, and I'm absolutely sick of the clown ba excusing supporters, who excuse the bush coach saying he hasn't been given the team to succeed, That's f**king bullshit. The coach has the final say on what players he wants in his team and is part of r and r, & after 11 years the clowns 🤡 are still saying that he doesn't have the tools to work with lol. He's built the ship and should go down with it. If it wasn't for Gutho cleaning up one of worst drilled defensive lines in any sports, ba would have been sacked many years ago.

I think that’s always been a big issue with him, and is a reservation I’d have about him coaching the Eels. But there are also plenty of blokes in the team who look like they well and truly need someone to tell them to pull their heads in and lift their standards. It looks as though BA isn’t getting that message across, so if the end result is a coach who’s a bit mean to the players, so be it.
