We won against the Sharks. But yes I agree we will get flogged. We haven’t won since Moses return, I don’t think it will make much of a difference, maybe a bigger flogging, that’s about it

If the merkin turned up for a trial with that ridiculous neck tattoo that would tell me everything I need to know about his intellect. The red pen would be out quick smart. Everything else he's accused of to date just reinforces the lack of grey matter....Would you risk him? I can’t cop a bloke who bashes women full stop. So it would be a no from me
How did we go against Sharks in his first game back again? We haven’t won since Moses return, I don’t think it will make much of a difference, maybe a bigger flogging, that’s about it
#FFSWe won against the Sharks. But yes I agree we will get flogged.
Put Cleary in this team and it’d be the same against, and even less for.We haven’t won since Moses return, I don’t think it will make much of a difference, maybe a bigger flogging, that’s about it
Let me tell u a secret…….we are still fkn last, congrats though on making ur petty useless point !!!!! clap clapHow did we go against Sharks in his first game back again?
Imagine one of them marries a girl called AprilMassive no from me, the whole family are trouble.
Put Cleary in this team and it’d be the same against, and even less for.
I know how read a f**ken NRL ladder so yep, I know we're fkn last. I can also read a results sheet and whether we won or lost. Want a lesson??Let me tell u a secret…….we are still fkn last, congrats though on making ur petty useless point !!!!! clap clap
but with a team like Parra their defence is shit so why put youself under the pump on a 50/50 chance you might get the ballThey might be 50 out when they catch the kick, but the 1st tackle would be made closer to the 30. By 3rd tackle they'd almost be at the 10. So I guess it's a trade off of 3 less tackles on your line vs a chance at getting the ball back
Because we’re just as likely to concede from 30m outbut with a team like Parra their defence is shit so why put youself under the pump on a 50/50 chance you might get the ball
He plays different roles, seemingly dependent on the opposition. So he might run out wide if there’s an edge worth targeting whereas against a team with two strong edges he will stay in the middle and maximise his yardage game.We sometimes see Junior play exactly the way he needs to - why only sometimes and how do we get him to do that more often?
The quality of your edge defence is largely dictated by the effort from the inside defenders. That is a great question, and is for the coaching staff to answer, but I would think it starts with a good defensive coach teaching the team a system that works for them and they can trust. Where they can make a defensive decision and know if it doesn’t work that they have a backup.
once we get that and the side is defending better you might see big hits form our forwards.
No it’s true. There is so much movement of personnel been clubs that the ideas and methods around the game are just a common body of knowledge.Absolute bollocks.
To be fair, he was excellent at St George as well. I remember being excited about his appointment nearly thirty years ago because he unearthed so much talent at the Dragons. Was Brian Smith good at pathways and development or was he just fortunate to have Noel cleal at the club
We’ve had superior possession to the opposition in our last five games and won one of them. Against the Storm it was 50-50 but we got whacked 48-16. Even having superior possession isnt enough in recent times. He plays different roles, seemingly dependent on the opposition. So he might run out wide if there’s an edge worth targeting whereas against a team with two strong edges he will stay in the middle and maximise his yardage game.
But his attacking effectiveness really depends on his workload in defence. If we don’t hold the ball, Paulo becomes a non factor.
That was the head coach’s job back then because there was nobody else to do it. These days head coaches have a more limited role.Brian Smith basically started the JETS programme, he was always around the junior set up and never hesitated to promote juniors. Plus he was very active in signing players, knew his stuff
More than enough oversized pea-hearts in our squad as it is, thanks. If he gets anything over $500k a season anywhere he should take it, because it’s sure as shit better than he deserves. Having said that, Bellamy could turn him into a weapon if he’s got enough ticker to have a go.so with jnr Paulo on the cusp of being medicaled out will we be able to get utoikamanu https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/s...t/news-story/9812d22e31b3627d536e7aabed24c8e8
