So here is the Parramatta Hall of Fame

Whose next is it Jarryd like seriously who else since Cayless & Hindmarsh would be deserving of being honoured to this group of Players.

Fui Fui Moi Moi could be a possibility did he do enough to be elevated into the Hall of Fame.

Otherwise you would have to move to this generation of players like Gutho.

Semi Radardra did he make a long enough impact to make the cut ????

With all due respect, JT was a half - way easier to influence a game, than at fullback.

Also, while the Cowboys underperformed from 2008 to about 2012, their squad aril featured players like Matt Scott, Steven Southern, Luke O'Donnell, Matt Bowen, James Tamou, Willie Tonga...

Hayne has halves like Jeff Robson, Luke Kelly, Daniel Mortimer, Casey McGuire, Ben Roberts, and Chris Sandow to work with, and stellar backline names such as Ken Sio, Chris Walker, Cheyse Blair...

Not to mention such intimidating forward presences as Mitchell Allgood, Rory Brien, Shane Shackleton...

I agree that JT dragged the Cowboys out of mediocrity, but he had help.

The quality of Hayne's teammates was abysmal.

Hayne's high salary, combined with how bad we were, meant we couldn't sign quality to complement him, and we couldn't develop a player to save our lives.

It's a crying shame, tbh.

Does Moses influence a game as much as fans think? Can't think of two.many time he has pulled us out of the woods with 10 or 15 to go and down by 10 points.
Till he does it consistently he will always be a downhill skier.

Moses has had great sides. Like I said his finals record stinks.
Maybe he is just entering his peak years now but some fans are forgetting the sides he had to play with and what he delivered

IMO..Hayne, Fui and Semi should be inducted in one swoop.

Reckon you’ve got blinkers on.
Origin this year
2021 elimination vs Knights

Him not pulling out couple tries at death when losing is also heavily influenced by opportunities (more often we’re either leading or down by more than few tries) and his teammates (you reckon Cleary scores the last try if his teammates don’t pull their thumbs out defensively - I rewatched it and my god they were epically shit in that middle period)

Blinker?
Knights hey. Lol. A real tough finals side.

Origin game 2 first half awesome. 2md half meh.

Origin 3? Was he the best half on field? Deaden was imo. Then Luai

We'll be poaching Galvin for 2026 mate...

I agree your mob will still be last (!!)
But we'll have moved up to at least 4th last by then.

That's forward progress, and one can see why Galvin would want to go back to the club of his childhood dreams and charge towards 5th or 6th last.
Is that you Rex? 😁

I think you're being cheeky by leaning on "bad sides" in the Hayne era and "great sides" in the Moses era.

I get your angle, but your exaggeration is silly.

Cleary did it against Broncos? Lol real tough finals side.

Cleary wishes he could reach meh level in Origin.

Typical feast or famine rugby league. No one is suggesting he should’ve beaten Coote as next immortal, but you acting like he’s Adam Perry is embarrassing for you.

Nathans pulled his side out of the ashes min 30 times.

The argument was about Hayne vs Moses. I'd even chose peak Hayne over Nathan btw

Dear Members,

The Parramatta Eels are delighted to announce that Isaiah Iongi has signed a three-year deal with the club.

The 21-year-old will join the Eels for the 2025 NRL season and remain at the club until at least the end of 2027.

Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill said, “Isaiah is a talented player with a promising future, he will be a wonderful addition to our backline next season. We look forward to welcoming him and his family at our Club in the coming months.”

Iongi made his impressive NRL debut in Round 22 recording 257 running metres and eight tackle busts from the fullback position.

He was the 2023 NSW Cup Fullback of the Year, a U19s QLD Maroons representative, and the 2022 Panthers Jersey Flegg Cup Player of the Year.

Out of respect to his current club, Eels will not make further comment at this stage.
