It's the end of year/school term circus. The world of Ayoub/Gutho negotiation tactics is there again for all to see. Relief it’s at another club, they may not fall for it an BA/MON appeared to.
Read the courier fail today and there was a huge contrast with Eels training and Donkeys. They had almost full squad with a very tough opening session whereas we had almost nobody and light session. Hope things ramp up when full squad assembled, definitely need better fitness.
He was injured after we signed him ffs. He was starting hooker in round one of 2022. His 2021 form was good, which is why we signed him.Whatever we paid it was overs. He was busted and his impact was as flaccid as some of your posts.
You always conveniently ignore the fact that his signing was lauded by almost no-one and that most fans and pundits had him as a bust from the day he was announced, which was before the injury you are referencingHe was injured after we signed him ffs. And Choc? You deep throated him from memory too.He was injured after we signed him ffs. He was starting hooker in round one of 2022. His 2021 form was good, which is why we signed him.

In fairness, Pou is still deep throating Steve Kearney for f**k's sake....And Choc? You deep throated him from memory too.
Sandow as well....In fairness, Pou is still deep throating Steve Kearney for f**k's sake....
This is why he was the cheap option, just like Lussick, who replaced him. We didn’t replace Mahoney with Hodgson because we thought he was better. There was too much demand for Mahoney, making him unaffordable. Do you really think the key to managing the cap is signing the best available player at every position? You always conveniently ignore the fact that his signing was lauded by almost no-one and that most fans and pundits had him as a bust from the day he was announced, which was before the injury you are referencing
He was excellent for us. The team was worse because we lost Hayne. Watmough got the blame for it.And Choc? You deep throated him from memory too.
No, but its also not signing a proven crock and woefully staffing the hooker position in an attempt to leave a pathway there for players of "potential"...I have been told by many people, including agents, that for at least two years they had been told not to bother with offering hookers to Parramatta. This is why he was the cheap option, just like Lussick, who replaced him. Everyone knew he was a risk. Are you suggesting we were in a position to avoid risk, with the salary cap squeezing players out of the squad?Hodgson sets record straight on new contract and explains why he refused to be medically retired

In this article, he confirms this injury was his "third knee"...everyone knew he was washed up except our recruitment team (and coach) and the great Poudini!
It was a clear indication of where we were at as a club, with the only coaches willing to come here being ones no other club wanted. No surprises Bennett preferred Souths, who finished below us on the ladder. Is Ryles the first one where there has been some external demand? Admittedly, it was from the Dragons, who haven’t been a preferred destination for anybody for over a decade. In fairness, Pou is still deep throating Steve Kearney for f**k's sake....
see above - we chose a disposable short term option (and crock) because we wanted the hooker position available for Arthur junior...all of the rugby league world knows that.Everyone knew he was a risk. Great attacking player who Souths wanted to keep. Shame about the shoulder charge ban. It killed his career.Sa
Sandow as well....
still litigating Kearney...you are the best!It was a clear indication of where we were at as a club, with the only coaches willing to come here being ones no other club wanted. Matt Arthur does have massive potential. Look how good he was in reserve grade this year, despite still being eligible for SG Ball. No, but its also not signing a proven crock and woefully staffing the hooker position in an attempt to leave a pathway there for players of "potential"...I have been told by many people, including agents, that for at least two years they had been told not to bother with offering hookers to Parramatta.
You have to ask yourself why that is? Because we were so wonderfully stocked in that area?
Either our coach deliberately wanted to leave a pathway for his son, or he and the club had no clue or ability to ensure that position was properly staffed in the past two years....either way, it was a big failure.
It is this culture that we hopefully have left behind, to the chagrin of only you.
