Seems like Brandon Smith won't be offered another contract at the Roosters. Might be worthwhile trying to see if the Roosters will let him go early if we free up Gutho's money.
Seems to be a bit of a wildcard with his attitude and off field behaviour isn't the greatest, but would form a good combo with Hands and the young 9's we bring through. Can start at 9 and then move to 13 later in games.
He’s a peanut and not worth anywhere near the bucks he is on. Geez Roosters got that one wrong.

This is so West Tigers.

TIGERS OFFER SULLIVAN $900,000 TO LEAVE CLUB

The Tigers are reportedly willing to give halfback Jayden Sullivan $900,000 to leave the club just one year into his four year deal with the club. The Daily Telegraph reported the Tigers are prepared to give Sullivan a monster pay out from his $2.4 million contract in order to free up salary cap space. Sullivan joined the Tigers on a four-year deal to be the club’s halfback, but played just eight games last season and lost all but one of the games he played in.

Agreed - I dont see us going out to buy a replacement middle forward for Reg.
The average of 53 mins per game that he has played over the last 5 years can be covered by increasing the minutes of any number of middle forwards, including Paulo.
With the same impact? As enthused as I am with the changes, the loss of RCG, plus organisation of defense* should Gutho go, are things I’m keen to see how we compensate for.
*as rubbish as it was

There is a reason why Melbourne let these blokes like Smith & Addo-Carr go.

Its not to do with football ability.

Both of them have come to Sydney and have been found wanting with professionalism & off-field problems.
I think it was money reasons. Storm couldn’t match the Bulldogs offer and they couldn’t justify having Smith on big money when they already have the superior hooker in Grant.
