I'm not convinced about Penisini, not yet anyway, I don't know why he would be highly rated.

He could be one day but he regressed last season for mine.

He was a good defender, until last year.

He's also probably the strongest centre in the NRL.

I'm excited to see Mark Gasnier work his magic with him.

He's not wrong. The penalties for players are ridiculous.
Every year off field incidents will continue until they face real consequences and the NRL set a higher standard for the behaviour they expect. There will always be another player that is grateful for the opportunity to play sport for a living. Should be a 2 year ban.

Well firstly don't think Mam is going anywhere near being a carpenter. But secondly, I'm only talking about our merkins who have been pictured mowing grass shirtless and riding in wheelbarrows. Pre-2019 we weren’t. Now our level of resourcing is (probably) above average. It’s too small a sample to know for sure. And in 2025, with the CoE coming online and all the extra full time staff, we look to have gone to a new level. It’s very exciting.

Then you agree with them that personnel may have been holding us back.

You know very well that I disagree on which personnel have been holding us back, and also on the opacity of any individual decision the critics think they are qualified to judge.
