Yeah I did and evidently I was wrong, which tbh, makes sense.

The PO for Luai makes sense for Luai (seriously, he is leaving 4 x premiers for 3 x spooners), the Bula deal makes sense for everyone.
Interesting in the Bye Round podcast that Jam (the paid ambassador of the Bulldogs) was saying that Luai committed to the Dogs by txt message. Then the a tigers came in with the options that sealed the deal.

Jam reckons that Gus won’t do options full stop and was arguing the case against the options. The other co-host took the position that there is no huge risk with an elite player.

If Gus signed Jarome for 2025/26 they would a contender no doubt.

It sheds light on decisions that clubs have to make. Do you let a player walk for the sake of an option ? Would Eels supporters have been happy to see Moses walk under the same circumstances?

In reality no but consider the media circus surrounding Moses's contract negotiations and the ill feeling same generated amongst the fans and I'd reckon the result may have required a recount. He wasn't popular and many were suggesting "go with Sanders".

It's quite possible that Sanders will be an elite #7, however how many years will you have to wait for that to happen ?

At what ages did the better halves hit their premiership best ? Sanders is still 19. I would say age 23 before he could deliver you a premiership. Moses wasn't premiership ready at 23 and still had many faults in his game.

Meanwhile Gus is still looking for a #7. If he thought Toby Sexton was the answer, he wouldn't have offered Jarome $1.2m.

The drive was always short, sharp & pretty effective with plenty of backstreets avoiding any traffic..

Complete opposite to his coaching tenure where we always chased the collision, lacked attention to detail and it went on forever.
Driving in traffic isn’t the coaches job.

Shows what you guys know. It would’ve been straight down Windsor Rd or Old Windsor, either way having to cross the Memorial Ave traffic lights that are 1 & 2 for shittest lights in country

In all seriousness i drove past the training ground on Wednesday actually as i had to run a few errands for work.

I was blown away how much Memorial Drive has changed in 10-15 years since i was last there.

I used to play Cricket & PSSA on the ground as a kid in the mid 2000s. But haven't gone to that part of Kellyville for a while.

That whole memorial drive from Windsor road all the way up to Parklea markets is different to the paddocks of land it was that i knew growing up.

Its unrecognizable if i turned off Memorial drive i would get completely lost.
