The whole thing was smelly. Not many good hookers around. The fact Knights landed MA without much of a fight tells me not many clubs where interested.
I've heard they where fine to release Brailey untill they seen MA train as the back up. Either not ready or don't rate.

MA went up to his dad's mates team the God father of JA.. He has a game but won't develop at the Knights also 3rd drop for hooker.

JA will be 3rd or 4th best half at Manly this season.

How many have we needed? Our pack was a strength for years. You’re talking as if we were shit since 2018. But even in 2023 we won half our games.

A better question is why we need to develop our own forwards when we can just buy them. It’s not like we get any benefit from developing the mercenary little merkins. Even Guymer tried to squeeze us for an upgrade.

We don’t know how much any of them get paid, but we can assume that stronger clubs get players cheaper than worse clubs would have to pay for the same merkin.

You didn't answer the question how many forwards came through after 2018 that's the date you keep bringing up about the rebuild.

But both still took the ability for another kid to come through and play at the club.

With the current recruitment approach even if they are still mercenaries , they are building depth for each position , so if players like sanders or a talagi want to leave or play games , we can tell them to f**k off as have others equally as good. Also means we our club does not have to talk any of them up like they did with Blaize
