But anyway why didn't BA turn our players into origin reps? Was he incapable of making the players better?

My point is that you’ve previously used premiership-winning coaches as the benchmark for coaching excellence. Now, it seems that’s no longer a priority, as long as the coach is deemed a genius. This inconsistency is why your credibility on these forums is often questioned. We remember your past statements, which appear to shift based on your current agenda.

If we get into the Finals and close to a top 4 spot this year it will prove nothing. BA has done it more than once, so what did that prove.

If we do it consistently over the next decade then that may prove something, but then again Ryles may be working with more than BA had to work with.

I think BA overall did a good job , was an apart of a set that did give us long term stability and a few good years …. But tbh if we kept him … I had zero hope for top 8 in 2025

That’s fine if you think so.
I was ok with his sacking and getting a new coach. I think it was probably time to move on. That doesn’t mean I don’t think we would have made the top 8 this year if we kept him on. He led the team to the top 8 in 6 of the last 8 years, so there’s no reason to think he couldn’t again.

BA was obviously not the best coach in the game, but he is far from the disaster he is made out to be on here.

That’s right poor Bea was hamstrung with Terrible rosters the whole time here he was here. Everyone was against him especially all us dopey fans. I mean yaar 12 was probably the year he took us to the promised land and the evil board took away that chance. Poor Brad.
