Noticing name's on team sheets, in particular junior origin matches, don't really make you a guru. He should head out to Guildford vs Wenty u/14's and tell us which ones will make it.

I hope he succeeds big time, and comes an NRL player and the hooker we need, but it's not like the eels rate him that highly.

22 years old and the club hasn't offered him a top 30 spots or one of the 6 development contracts. And that's with us only having 2 hookers in the squad.

Additionally there is another 288 nrl spots (top 30 and development) available at the other 8 Sydney NRL clubs, and none have rated him high enough for a spot.

True that. He is getting an opportunity to show his worth this pre season and obviously excelling and impressing. Opportunity that may not have existed Before Boods did a runner has been presented to him. Next year's a new year with new ideas and new decision makers. Nothing would surprise. Fingers crossed for the kid.

I like reading TCT training reports but it’d be interesting to hear what they might say after going to training held by other teams, purely for compare/contrast.

Don’t you know that because the Eels haven’t won a comp in many years proves we are not well resourced but the Warriors who have also never won a comp in many years (ever) are better resourced than us .

Premierships aren't a very good way to determine resourcing. A club can have zero premierships in a statistically significant number of years (let's say 20) while another club with even fewer resources might have done a Bradbury one year and picked up a premiership in the same 20 year period. Wins are more granular than premierships so they are a better indicator. Point differential is even more granular.

As for the Warriors compared to Parra, two coaches have coached both clubs in the past 20 years and both had better records at the Warriors. I refer here to their win rate, not the number of premierships, which was exactly the same in both cases.
