Time will tell. I've only seen him once. He looked raw but good size,speed,agility. He could be the line breaking edge we need.

There also posts somewhere in this thread saying Davey and Morgan Harper were signed as backups yet they played first grade as soon as BA could get 'em in there...

Teams need backups any time, including in round one. Harper was banished to reserve grade once we had four fit outside backs, and made his final NRL appearance (in jersey 19) in Barrett's first game in charge. Davey was signed because we had an injury crisis in the forwards. After everyone was back on deck he moved to the bench and then retired.

Lomax is ineligible for the first trial. The only definite starter that'll be eligible is Addo-Carr as he has a 2 week suspension.

Should still be able to tell if Penisini plays the first trial.

Who knows though as they will be testing a few positions out .

Latu has more of a chance as he can take any position on the bench where as Martyn is a winger and behind alot of players.
