Of course you reckon it’s a better deal, you go for Parra. Everyone now rates Iongi and hates Talagi what a surprise.

The reality is Penrith needed to replace Luai, and Iongi was stuck behind Edwards. Now both get a shot at playing First grade on a regular basis.

I rate him. I think in 3yrs people will be going I hope he comes back.
Sure his defense sucks but he wasn't physically ready for NRL. He will end up atleast 7kgs heavier when fills out. Then his defense will improve and his attack looks dynamite already.
I saw games where defenders started holding back from him. They don't do that unless they fear the guy with the ball and confused.
He has awesome potential

I rate Talagi but I also rate Iongi. Iongi is a better fullback, and seemingly ready to go right now. I think Talagi has better upside but might never have adapted to fullback, which is what we needed.

I seen him play a year prior in semi final of Flegg. And I thought he is 3yrs away from NRL.
His development was so rapid he played NRL. With faults yes but he also scored some amazing try's and made great breaks and out of nothing. He also steam rolled a few players physically.
