Or pay dopey Dylan 1.2mill to continue to be a space cadet.
We would be saying it in the pride thread, I'll give you the hot tip. What if his cock had of fallen out, what would you be saying then?
Reportedly the Knights offer. 6 mill over 5 years.... So if we want him to stay maybe we have to as well....who is paying Dylan $1.2mill ?
I never thought a Queenslander would be capable of something like this.I agree with your point - but I just can't escape the fact that it was 29-year Ofahengaue who did this...I mean, then dude represented Queensland....
Sanders and Talagi were in SG Ball and less than 18 months after the grand final, both had rejected our offers and been announced elsewhere.Fletcher is in ball along way off even being considered for NRL backup.
I'd say it was injury that nearly ruined his career.Volkman may want to hang around and play understudy for another year or 2 he has jumped around and it nearly ruined his career.
ffsEthan Sanders played in the 2023 SG Ball GF. In Rnd 1 2024 he played his maiden NSW Cup game and was pretty much already on the market.
So tell me how you are right and I am wrong ?
These kids are scouted heavily by the time they are in SG Ball, and there's no "You're playing Flegg next year, take it or leave it" with the best of them. They are getting good offers for top 30 spots straight out of SG Ball.Anyway using Sanders as an example he played a year early should have played the season in Flegg. We just all wanted them to develop so quickly because didn't have much in cup as backups.
So with Fletcher this year once Ball is over he needs to develop in Flegg for 2026 then in 2027 if he is ready come into CUP. (A pathway of you want to call or that)
I love him too, but that's because I'm a childish bogan who doesn't care about Corporate America (Australia branch). Unfortunately for Joe, and most NRL players, the clubs (which are also corporations) care desperately about keeping their fellow corporates happy, both now and in the future. That's how woke culture has crept into pro sports despite the majority of players and fans finding it stifling and oppressive. If they want the big money the need to please the ones with the money.I found it hilarious
I love JoeO even more now
When Bellamy brought in wrestling coaches 20 years ago his players didn’t suddenly jump of the top rope You get the outsider perspective and apply it to the existing game and find little advantages..

Well we have no control over it and we're not f**ken chilled! He's gonna have to be chilled, he's got no control of the situation
I'm sure he could, and much cheaper, but his run game and defence aren't even close. You get what you pay for.Volkman was the standout. Wondering if he could play 5/8 instead of Brown.
Here's a tip, without the PO we would have no control until Drown, or his replacement, makes a decision anyway. Last time Moses re-signed he was announced in round 11, with no PO holding him up. How much control did we have then?No control to round 10, absolute genius strategy.

Agreed, and that's the decision we made with Sanders and Talagi. Luckily Guymer was already contracted when he tried to squeeze us for more money, and we were able to renegotiate on our terms. But it's likely his manager didn't anticipate the demand for him by mid-2024, and we were lucky enough to lock him in early. Sanders and Talagi were standouts in SG Ball and their managers knew not to accept our lowball offers. But that doesn't mean we should've gotten ourselves into a bidding war to keep them, especially when there was no place for them in the halves in our NRL team.Well then good luck to them we are in the business of winning competitions not being bent over by players. If they don't want to buy into the pathway to first grade at the Eels then oh well.
It’s easier to see in reverse. Like every NRL fan looks at American football and wonders why they don’t lateral after the catch more. American football coaches are a lot smarter than league coaches so they would see a lot.I can see the correlation between league and wrestling. I just don't see it between the nrl and nfl
Yeah but you would have to also live in Newcastle....I'll stay in Sydney for slightly less thanksReportedly the Knights offer. 6 mill over 5 years.... So if we want him to stay maybe we have to as well....
