It makes sense to try and extract some benefit from the junior 'development' (poaching) we invested in since the PLC started full trading again after Covid. We won SG Ball in 2023, came fifth last year (with our best under 19s fast tracked in Flegg/NSW Cup/NRL) and are leading the comp this year. It's streets ahead of 2018-2022, after Max Donnelly put the razor through football expenses, and we only made the SG Ball finals once (2019) in those five years.I reckon you are missing the point of what Ryles is trying to do. It's obvious he is trying to regenerate the squad with a focus on youth.
Pretty much every position, we have some promising juniors/rookies potentially ready this year or next 12 months.
