Lomax, Brown, Paulo, lane, offa, Hopgood? our “leaders “ they choose not to, that’s the difference …..desire and hunger???

Panthers can dine on these premiership for the next 50 years, on the other hand we haven’t won anything for 40…..no offence but comments like ur is what’s wrong with this club, every excuse in the world!!
I will only say lomax and possibly hopgood (but still too early) are good enough to be leaders in that group

If you think brown, offa, lane and Paulo are leaders, well that's your opinion.

Say's Mr Bookmark himself.

Everyone remembers your stupid takes, i mean who can forget Jeff Robson mKII???

Nothing creepy about remembering your blatant stupidity.
My point is that you are wrong often. That's no secret and even you'd admit that.

So why the FBI file on me ? I think you need to get a new hobby.

Just because you've played 175 Plus NRL games doesn't automatically make you leader.

BUT, if players aren't Leaders or influencing results after 175 NRL games, you might as well just play a rookie or minimum wage journey man.
I loved Gutho and RCG for the passion they showed, but to be honest, we didn't win anything with them "leading" the team so at the end of the day, I reckon their time was up and it was time to move on from them both.

Yes, we look leaderless at the moment but in times of need, true leaders stand up and I am keen to see who does this for us over the next few weeks.

Have no issue with them being moved on, but they should've been replaced.

We let them go a year early...we could've asked for a player swap as compensation.

Agree that the senior players have to stand up

Letting them go a year early was probably both selfish and selfless on the clubs behalf. Selfish because we didnt want to have them here knowing they wouldnt be in 2026 and selfless because, yes without ready-made replacements we have now got some siginifcant gaps.

But by the same token, if we didn't let Gutho go, do we get Iongi? He may be our future #1 for the next 10 years.

And it doesn't need to be a senior player that stands up. Once they run onto the field, anyone wearing 1-17 can be a leader. It's about attitude, effort and doing the 1%'rs.
