Why would you move Doorey back to the edge? He's playing career best footy in the middle and is providing an inside option for Hopgood which nearly opened the dogs up yesterday. No one else is running that line in the team

I reckon Ryles is prioritising mobile defenders in the forwards, including on the edges. Doorey is definitely mobile enough for the middle but just lacks the lateral movement for the edges. Kautoga shows promise.

Mostly due to the lack of other options, I guess.

I think Doorey's best value is currently in the middle third - but who do we replace Lane with, to push Lane back to the bench?

At the moment I imagine we have a lot of room in the cap for next year and that's before we encourage anyone else to move on. There's also very little quality currently available next year. So we're going to either front load some players contracts, over pay some kids on potential or overpay some average players because there's no one else to sign. Probably a combo of all 3.
I don't think DCE would come to parra but I think it would be worth considering him on a 2 year deal. If Lorenzo coming through in SG Ball is the long term 6 it gives him 2 years to develop. Big risk with DCE's age and his style might not gel well with Moses. But I would consider it just because there aren't many quality players available.
