who are the two player?
The computer wont link up with anything with a name in it for this individual.
EELS
BEST COMBINATIONS

1. Isaiah Iongi (2027) / Joash Papalii (2027)

6. Dylan Brown (2025)

7. Mitchell Moses (2029) / Dean Hawkins (2026) / Ronald Volkman

9. Brendan Hands (2026) / Joey Lussick (2025) / Ryley Smith (2026)

Contract status: Were thrown a massive curveball when Dylan Brown opted to join Newcastle. Mitch Moses will finish his career at Parramatta and they have looked to have found a long-term fullback in Isaiah Iongi but the rest of the spine is undecided.

Up and coming: The Eels have banked on two Australian Schoolboys in hooker Lachlan Coinakis and half Lincoln Fletcher with the local products contracted until the end of 2027.

I'm not fussed with him going, I'm just saying I don't think he really wanted to go.

correct, he didn't want to go

“I was obviously already on a pretty good deal here at Parramatta, I never wanted to leave and I had a few discussions with Parramatta and they put forward their best contract.

From the same article:
“The Knights was just too hard to turn down.... it’s a lot of money and it does good things for my family.”

Not the first time he has grabbed an opportunity or two and then tried to explained himself later.

You have to wonder about both decisions.

In the history of rugby league, what 1 NRL game rookie replacing your Captain with over 200 NRL games who influenced results, actually improved the side?

What team, who had one genuine starting Front Rower, has let that player go and not replaced them, and the side has actually improved?

The coach has put himself in this position with these decision. The sad fact is that at this stage he's likely to win a total of 10 games across two seasons because of it.
Three years after winning the 2013 grand final, the Roosters only won six games. Was it necessary or an avoidable failure? The answer is we will never know. It's very exciting.

Yeah. Moses is obviously still at his peak. The question is how good he will be at 32 or 33. Luckily his strength is his kicking game, and that never declines in a halfback. He can afford to drop plenty of speed as well. It comes down to durability. Will he become injury prone? Or just a bit slower? It’s very exciting.

Did you watch them this week? Not saying I told you so but I’ll be disappointed if we chase him too hard
He was a poor man's Drown, which is what we need. The Dragons defended very well in that game, and Wishart made plenty of runs, plenty of PCM, and tackled at 88%. Was Munster any better?

Preference is certainly to blood juniors, but if our juniors are still 18-24months away, or we genuinely feel we have a shot at Galvin or someone similar, we need someone in the meantime.

Hawkins can certainly fill that role, but Clifford has a bit more experience and running game in him, whereas Hawkins is definitely a kicking/organising 7.
Hawkins is a backup. He is Jake Arthur, only older.
