Interesting options where we send our 12th home game next year.

I prefer we keep it at commbank but after speaking to the Chairman and CEO last night at the members function in Newy something is in the pipeline to replace Darwin home game.

Depends on logistics and a few other factors across the next few months but the plan the club seem keen on i can live with that option especially as it wont be a disadvantage when it comes to climate.
I wouldn't be surprised if the NRL encourage a couple of clubs to take a game to Perth throughout the year. Try and build up the hype a bit more for the Bears entry than just having a double header and origin.

Just heard Ryles interview and geez I like him. He is extreme measured and talked really openly.

Said he has never had one thought in ripping up the roster that it was the right thing to do. He said there is still more to come! Didn’t talk about future signings.

Spoke highly of Jack Williams who started as an backrower but played in the middle. He reminded everyone that there are 7 or 8 players in the squad with less than 30 games experience and a few like Iongi etc that have less than 10!

He struck me in his words and demeanour as a coach who was extremely comfortable in where he is at on our journey with steep improved performances in sight.

He seems to have actually learnt alot being under other head coaches in his time. He admits that he is also new to the first grade coaching gig so he doesn't have any runs on the board to be not taking advice and changing.

Wouldn't we just take that game as the home team at magic round? Probably just as profitable..

Forgot to say how much he respects Nathan Brown. He said he always wanted a highly experienced NRL coach on his staff if he could have one.

He said that Nathan Brown was actually the one who identified Samrani as a potential back rower and Nathan Brown has been working on him. He said Brown was the one who transformed Beau Scott into a back rower as well as Ben Creagh. He thinks Samrani is the same player.

in my 25 years supporting the club i honestly cant remember when elite talent ever waneted to come to this club.

Foran is the only one i can really think of, we are far better off trying to develop our own tbh.
For them to ultimately leave like Talagi, Sanders and Arthur's MArthur.

We may play a home magic round game in Brisbane…

I'd prefer we take that home game to the SFS. We should try to expand within Sydney. Id also consider Gosford. Parra is probably the closest team to Gosford with that new road in place.

But, but, but… Nathan Brown was basically on the shit list here last week.

They’re not going to stay if the pathway is blocked. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t continue to develop them. If we can use them in first grade, we should get first crack at keeping them. We didn’t need Talagi or Sanders. Not this year anyway.

Unless your Iongi and you've played 60 nsw cup games behind Edwards, you can't say your pathway is blocked.

Stop being soft and fight for your right to play first grade.
