Perhaps it’s for the best, but reading between the lines, the recruitment guru thought it was a done deal and lowballed their initial offer and then had to move once it was apparent that the Dogs were in the mix. Not the first time that has occurred.

Do you reckon it's how we got Lomax or re-signed Moses? It's called negotiation ffs. If you start with your best offer you will never get a discount.

I would say more so he was always going to the dogs from day 1. Look at the way Gus was talking about him, from a year ago.

I have..but can still be disappointed and express the fact I’m more disappointed in Brown who was signed with us and the club backed him. i am not really upset about Galvin who was a tigers player picking the Bulldogs over us. Galvin owes us nothing where as I feel like brown owed the club plenty.

The only positive is like you said I feel Brown has reached his ceiling.

Joash looks like he will be a quality player and could be better than both of them.

Brown might have some improvement in him but he simply is not a leader.

You need to set your expectations to the reality. We're clearly finding it difficult to entice players who want to and have a reason to come here.

We're obviously going to struggle signing players that other clubs are also interested in.

I think you’re selling us a bit short. I see plenty of upside at the club.

Brown is a paycheque player, he had no desire for success just the $$$$ hence his defection
