Listening now and surprisingly they have stayed focussed and asked questions that were somewhat missing from the earlier one. Never heard them before but hasn’t been at all bland.

We have decent money in our cap.

We are looking at forwards and a hooker for next season.

We may recruit a player before June 30.

We may use a player from within for our number 6 in 2026.

Big raps on Lorenzo.

He rates out pathways guy - Shepherd.

Our young players as they gain experience will require upgrades.

Did he say how much his rates are for lawn mowing?

I have no info, but with the timing of Cartys departure, my first thought was they will be announcing a signing before June 30th. Will be nice to have some good news.
@Soto, your info about Sandon Smith worries me. I think he is a decent player with plenty of upside and would have loved to see him in Blue and Gold

No more was I but I'm excited. Maybe Ryles gave thought to the fact his middle could not break, nay bend The Dogs line last game. Emu off the back fence might be quite a spectacle. Ill be cheering. He may also think the improvement shown in team D might offset Emus lateral movement. Riley will do his tackling.

I wonder if he will ever be on the field at the same time as Paulo?

I will repeat what i was told about Sandon...offered to parra by the brave chooks after we missed out on Galvin and we didn't move on it. Seems like the coaches were not that keen on him.
5/8 most likely to be filled from within and Joash to play more 5/8 in reserves throughout the season to give him more exposure to the role.
With Carty gone and Lane probably also expected to go dont be surprised if there is a signing announcement before June 30.. just a hunch on this one

My mail is that we are only getting a pre June 30 signing if it was someone we would have wanted for 2026 and beyond. No rushed signings just because.

And I certainly wasn't expecting hard hitting questions like you would get from actual journalists.

people can’t relate to someone like that. People don’t respond to that. Compare that to Gould, hate him or not he speaks with passion and can sell his club. Our bloke comes across superior and arrogant. If that’s the way he speaks to potential new players, it’s no wonder why they can’t sell the club.

After the titans spoonbowl loss this Sunday.

TCT pod cast with Jim was an absolute joke. An embarrassment of an interview and they have their sponsorship on the line. Typical TCT they sucked up and defended the previous coach and his son and now they have another sugar daddy in Jim’s mowing. No hard questions were asked.

The other podcast was a bit better I thought, in relation to having more harder questions.
