So Ricky / Canberra are allowed a poor year (2014 as per your opinion), when changing approaches but Parramatta/Ryles isn't allowed a poor year after change approaches......
As you said 2023 should be our "poor year", fair enough, 2024 was tracking poor, we sacked the coach and moved on...
So the club is doing exactly as you want, but you aren't willing you give Ryles/Eels the same considerations as you give Ricky!
BTW our mob, have only been in place since 2019.....Ricky went 15th, 10th, 2nd, 10th, 10th, then GF. 5 years to get to the GF, our mob went 5th, 4th, 5th, GF, 4 years to get to GF.....
Also all clubs have poor years except Storm.
I am giving Ryles a free pass this year and actually backing him to see out his contract and lead us somewhere in a positive direction.
My main concern is the key pillars we have around him that will prevent this.
In terms of poor years Raiders have won at least 10 games in every season for a decade.
Winning 10 games in a season surely that should be the bare minimum you can expect in a 24 game season from your side finals or not.
Piss poor planning has led us to a cliff we all saw coming yet outside of the coach nothing else has changed around that. With the new coach coming in and basically dismantling everything that the CEO & R&R thought was a premiership winning roster.
MON has been here 7 years its time for a fresh outlook on things. His pass mark for the first 4 years has been turned into a D for diabolical for the past 3 years. Like we dont need to get started on the PO situation again but that all leads back on MON.
Ill go back to when the Titans came into the comp as a fair analysis and sample size & wont include the Dolphins in this how many teams have had bottom 4 finishes since 2007.
I didnt include Storm or Parramatta when salary cap stripped them of the points and pushed the 5th worst place into the bottom 4 instead.
10 x Titans
8 x Tigers
7 x Warriors
6 x Eels, Cowboys
5 x Raiders, Bulldogs, Knights
4 x Sharks, Dragons
3 x Sea Eagles, Roosters, Rabbits
2 x Panthers, Broncos
Now unless a miracle happens we are adding another bottom 4 finish to the list this year.
How is that 7 bottom four finishes in 19 years acceptable.
Poor years shouldn't lead to bottom four with regularity.
