For those interested, the Lakers have just been bought for US$ 10 billion and the discussion stated that until they get the best people in senior positions at the club they won’t be in the top echelons of clubs despite their size and status.

Similar to how we seem to be, not the right people in control, draw a comparison with Man Utd as well, big club poorly run for years with important jobs given to nice blokes and cronies , not big achievers. A lesson to be learnt from a different sport maybe, employ the best people who have reached the top elsewhere to achieve success.

wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up on ours books tbh… I’m not totally against it. Covers a few positions, as long as the price is right

Not similar to us at all, a championship in the last five years as well as having the second most championships in the NBA. Also just pulled off one of the biggest trades in NBA history to get a prime Luka Doncic while we fumbled Galvin right into the Dog's lap. Yeah, nah this comparison really doesn't work at all.

He gets a lot of criticism, but I think he's a good player.

More a half these days, as he's probably lost some pace - but he has a good footy brain.
