I'd thumbs up this post if this inscrutable forum would let me have a Like button.

I've tinkered with every setting, gone through Grok, ChatGPT and Internet Archive for any advice as to how to permit the Like button yet still sit bereft while now my screen is assaulted with layers of impenetrable layers of advertising, like a modern impersonation of browser baroque rococo, each one layered on the other I have to close one just to get to the other, to close another to finally see the settings for permissions to allow yet another incursion upon my browser session.

Seriously, what's a man got to do to get a Like button on this forum?

"Pou, what's your favourite Parramatta Eels memory?"

I would like Pou to narrate his best and worst Eels memories.

Just dot points will do.

eg.

worst: fui fui clearly ankles tackled billy slater
also ran; closed my eyes same game when Jarryd Hayne failed to catch that bomb which was clearly his in 2009

Best: forward pass Moses vs Girlz 2022

I think it's fair enough to ask a Parra fan what's their favourite memory.

It separates the statisticians from the true believers.

I'd love to hear Pou narrate his favourite and worst moment of his Eels love.

My favourite memory is stuck in the car park at homebush after beating broncos to reach the gf. Everyone blasting horns and doing the parrra chant....

Worst was 98 dogs comeback after my mates and i were already making plans for the gf

My worst memory is Fui Fui tackling Billy Slater 20 metres out, Fui did an ankles tackle which then was allowed to hang on.

Slater hysterically grandstands a collapse play the ball when clearly Fui got him and we should get a penalty 20 out with under 2 minutes to go.

But the game was rigged
Sorry but I don't actually watch any games.

lol

What's your favourite moment?

Describe it and how you felt.
Mine would be the 1986 grand final win.
I was young but on the footsteps of manhood. I couldn't emotionally handle the last set when the fellas were defending and hanging on in desperation. I cried during that last set of defense....that was very confusing for me. I remember thinking "what the hell is this T-Boon" my older brother slapped my face, I probably spat on him in retaliation. I was definitely struggling to regulate my emotions.
I actually dont really remember my emotions after when the siren went and we had won (relief maybe).
I just often think of my melt down during the last minute.

Best: Post 2000’s I’d say 2009 prelim against Dogs at Homebush; 75k crowd of just Parra and Dogs fans .
