I was a bit harsh on Ionghi too in the early part of the season and was thinking he needed to go back to reserves...hes good..he will get even better.
We all want instant success. Do I think we are better than 15th or 16th. Yes I do. However we may still finish with spoon.
We've also had a horrid injury run and throw in an unusual amount of suspensions too.
I am hopeful for at least 4 more wins

I see Samrani as a 2nd rower.
We have Kautoga/Kelma/ Guymer/ Williams/ Latu. Im pretty sure Latu will debut later this yr.
Kautoga is a definite mainstay. I'd say hes exceeded expectations.
Samrani has been asked to play wing, centre and backrow. For the most part hes done pretty well.
Joash is a tricky one and I think will be given every opportunity at 5/8.
We also have Twiddle/ Talaitana/ Hunter/ Hawkins and Volkman who will be fighting out for the vacant 5/8 spot.
You are correct about 5/8 but I see it as a good thing that so many will be challenging for the 5/8 spot.
Competition is good. It's definitely better than in previous years where there was no plan, no genuine contenders or backups.
Would I like to see an established backrow and 5/8 signed?. Absolutely as well as another centre, winger and prop.
We will have decent coverage for prop next yr in Jnr/ Moretti/ Tuivaiti/ JDB/ Williams.
If we could sign only Tino and Averillo i would be very happy.
I do have trust in Ryles and co in how they are trying to shape the roster. Im also expecting another broom through the place too..

If we had first graders in their positions you could live with the fact that they are signed as backups. But currently we don’t have a first grade quality edge forward or 5/8 at the club for 2026.

Having backups in the squad isn't going to stop us signing first graders. Not saying we will sign first graders in the positions we need, but we would need the backups either way.

Kautogo has been a surprise to me in the trials and first few games I was off here m but he has improved a lot and now is a decent NRL player already.

Not this year. But last year nobody had heard of Kautoga and he has shown he is well up to it. The same could happen for any current reserve grader after a good enough off season.

He's manually removing the flag, but as soon as you use the ad blocker it goes back on again.

If you use a browser with an ad blocker even once (e.g. at work), it flags your account as a user of ad blockers. Then when you get back on your phone you are now treated like the scum that you are.

01 was the getting caught with our pants down GF.
09 was the going away from what worked GF (we went from hot potato to luke warm potato).
22 we won if I remember correctly, so that was alright.
