Ok Johnny Smith....Here it is 37 min mark:

I can't work out if he says Pezet or Ilias.....
Are you serious? It’s obviously Pezet. Why on earth would it be Ilias? He’s under contract, has no clauses to get out, and is currently struggling.

Ryles was the assistant coach at the Storm during Pezet’s development. That’s also why he had interest in Sandon Smith — he watched him come through the grades at the Roosters.

You’re just being evasive because I’ve pointed it out and, once again, I’m right. No need for an apology — just admit it.

Ok, great, thanks for admitting Anasta didn't say Pezet!

Case closed!

I feel so positive about the future of the side that I’m shocked others aren’t too. We are so far from the finished product it’s not funny but with 8 mins to go we were down by 6 to Canberra at Canberra. All of us feared the worst heading into that game.
My seven year old enjoyed the game so much he wore his new Eels beanie to school on Monday, even though the little merkins are all Raiders fans.

With the amount of dropped ball our attacking style encourages, we’re going to need better defence.
I was thinking similar when reviewing in my head some of the game turning moments against the Raiders.

Joash pass over the sideline on the last when a grubber in behind would have reaped huge dividends, and the intercept thrown by Jack Williams that may have ultimately resulted in a Raider's try are two glaring instances where a failure in attack puts a huge toll on our defence.

Reduce the turnovers and last play poor options whilst still maintaining the expansive game and there's less pressure via exhaustion on our defense.

To have taken the #1 team in the comp and for mine the premiership threat was a sign of increasing toughness.

yeah I get that but 50% inflation is a bit ambitious imo
It's not the inflation so much as the change in his status. At the end of 2022 he was one of the most dangerous attacking forwards in the game. At the time we got him from Manly he had just had a breakout season as a solid first grader. I don't know him much he's ever been on, but I think $400k when he first arrived at the club to $600k now is very realistic. Even if he is worth f**k all in 2025.

We did speak to Pezet.

My mail early on in the piece was spot on.

I wont name the idiot on here who was mocking where i get mail from as he gets embarrassed enough regularly on the forum.

But we definitely were or possibly still are interested in Pezet.

Once Hughes signs the contract extension Pezet is free to go to Market.
Did one these idiots like ur post?
