If we did that I’d be allowing a few to leave or not offering them an extension from this years squad. Greig will be one I’m certain. I’d also let go of Guymer and possibly Kelma.
I don't see Greig getting an extension regardless, but we do need depth so if we can fit the others in without impact, why not just keep them.
Because you’d offer them to other clubs as a swap to get them a year early.
That article indicated Mooney would be free to leave early if he got a better/longer deal. Similar to what we offered Gutho and RCG.

Guymer plays on the edge but makes regularly less than 100m. Give me a break. He is far from our best.
