Probably would make the old “need to complete your set after a try” even more important

It’s all about win rate and total wins. Michael Hagan won a premiership ffs. Winning one only takes a bit of luck.

Timing more then luck. Was Brisbane's 2023 side playing better then 2025?
We're Panthers as strong in 25 as 23?
Was Walsh and Esra more experienced and better players? This is timing. Not luck.

I still think our 2022 side would of been a 50/50 to win the comp in 2021,2024,2025.

I had a girlfriend (age appropriate) who had a bedroom similar to that. I ran into her a few years later and she had turned very goth (and I suspect at least partially lesbian). Still… good times

The timing is part of the luck. Brisbane had no control over how strong their opponents would be on the day, or whether they would win three close games in a row. A few different bounces and they could have lost any of those games.

I still think our 2022 side would of been a 50/50 to win the comp in 2021,2024,2025.

Maybe, but 50/50 still requires luck.
