Kelly is an average NRL centre, no worse than plenty of top 17 players at other clubs. Or do you expect clubs to be sending us their stars a month into preseason?

Lomax opted to piss off to another code. While still having 3 years to go on his contract

We granted him his wish to go play another sport on the proviso if he comes back before 2029 its either with us or on our terms.

Lomax broke the terms not us.

Now Lomax is never playing again for us but why should roll out the red carpet for him to waltz back into the code another club to benefit before he served his penance basically which was a 4 year.

As you say not our problem his an idiot and R360 didnt get off the ground.

Yep, Russell and Simonsson can both play wing while Penisini and Kelly can’t.

Has someone told Perth Bears yet that the condition of Lomax's release he can't play for another NRL Club until 2029.

Well that's what the club are telling everyone.

Be interesting how it all plays out. And how much of a backbone the club management have holding Lomax to this.

As a club we were privately happy for him to piss off & really by rights can we let him rot in Rugby now for 3 years and we should do so.

Perth have no players to offer us up atm in return and whats a transfer fee going to do.

I am steadfast in my opinion he can f**k right off. We’ve done everything right by him, we should NOT be releasing him. Full stop.

The ONLY case in which I’d consider it is if we get a similar calibre Origin/Test player in return from a club. Perth can’t offer us that.

If a Dolphins, Storm, Broncos etc want to swap a great player in return then fine. But why can’t he just play for the Eels if he wants the play NRL… it’s money! So if a club like Tigers or whoever want to make him a marquee player on $900k then we’ll consider depending on who they can offer, otherwise get f**ked!

Oh and before you suggest it, we don’t need any “financial benefits” we have loads of money and can’t grab a signing already!

We granted him a release from his contract with the condition & stipulation of the early release he couldn't play for another NRL club until 2029 when his 4 year contract parramatta finished unless we forgo that right down the track.

Perth can talk to him but under the terms of agreement he can't play for another club until 2029 unless we remove the terms of the release and grant permission for Zac to play for another club.

Now we could very do so but what are we getting back for that.

Perth have f**k all to offer us in players. There struggling themselves.

Transfer fee actually means nothing we don't get extra cap money to spend on other players.

I think most fans will be rightly fuming if we roll over and let Zac walk into another NRL Club before 2029 unless its advantageous to us like getting a quality calibre player in return doesn't have to be a winger but someone of rep quality from the club that Zac wants to end up at.

Like most of have said he chose this path & now he can rot in Rugby for 3 years.
