Actualy our location is a strong point. Very central. You could live in heaps of suburbs amd still be 30mins away so may not need to relocate for plenty of guys
Although training is at Kellyville...it is a bit out there..but with M4, 5 and 7 you can easily get to places quickly. This is not a rumour...my last rumour about a player signing at the Dragons was deleted because it wasn't quoted....ummmm hello that's why its a rumours thread and interestingly enough the mail I get from someone who is a massive soufs fan was spot on...go figure
(Reason was coz it was unsourced...it was sourced) again go figure.
And as if im going to reveal who it is...it would out the poor bloke who gave me the info.
He's not a soufs official but knows everything about the club and is at every game, home, away, rail, hail or shine

What’s the chance Flanno is not even there in 2027 if they have a dud year again this year? The bloke has gone for the coin, nothing else.

He most likely did chase the money - I think 90% of us would do the same.

But he's getting to latter stages of his career - I doubt he would want to a key figure in a rebuild.

I'm just saying that us losing out to the Dragons is not necessarily as simple as we didn't go hard enough for his services.

Great opportunity for the clubs negotiators to now spend decent cash for both 2026 and 2027 on backs as that’s an area where the club is lacking more than forwards.

Given who was moved on from the start of 2025 on big coin and then losing Dylbro and Lomax, and signing next to no one , there should be sufficient to get some serious recruits. Have they left it too late, guess Michael Jennings came in January, not under the current leadership though. Should be some pressure to get things moving asap, see how it pans out.

Don’t worry, we’ve elevated Tago into our top 30. That should do it.

This is 100% correct. I’m only arguing for the sake of it. No one knows why he went with the Dargs except for him.

I'm not fan of O'Neill, don't get me wrong.

But I think the Dragons are more desperate for a quality forward, than we are, and are more willing to take a gamble on throwing big bucks at one.

I think we did the right thing by offering what we thought he was worth to us, and then not increasing the deal.

But I'd like us to sign some decent backs.

it sounded like the dragons offered an extra year and and extra 100k a year than we did.

lets face it no one is coming here for anything more than $$$

Haven’t we got two options though? If it’s not him (I didn’t realise he was tiny) we also have Fletcher do we not? Some have suggested he may have moved ahead?

from what ive seen of SG Ball Fletcher looks like a top prospect and plays a real traditional halfbacks role.

Id rather be running with two halfbacks for a couple of years than end up with none when mitch moves on.

but i cant state this strongly enough, Petrus and Ryda are absolute studs.

We replaced Dylan Brown with a very talented young five-eight for next year.
And all it cost was a cuck chair.

Not signing KK is a failure of Jim and MON. As stated many times before, These guys are amateurs. It’s one thing signing over the hill forwards such Debelin and Ron Massey cup players (which they exceed in) but the test in convincing top line talent to sign with us.

But if you have morons at the helm, we won’t sign shit. To lose out to the DRAGONS is embarrassing.

phones ringin’ off the hook
Should shit clubs never sign any players? We had a shopping spree last year. Now our team is more or less settled. We are developing youth. The Dragons were shitter than us so should have more to spend.

On the flipside, blokes living within 30 minutes of our club are likely the same distance from several other clubs.
