So only $400k difference between their offer and ours, over 4yrs? And they added an extra year.

Although training is at Kellyville...it is a bit out there..but with M4, 5 and 7 you can easily get to places quickly. Kellyville is still a hike.

I am born and bred in Baulko and honestly Kellyville feels as close as Ryde is for me now with traffic and the Memorial Drive ground they are now that is now unrecognisable with all the new development to the one i played junior cricket and touch footy at in the mid 2000s.

Baulko is 10-15mins from Parra so tap that on from Commbank and your looking at 20-25mins on a good day from the Parra CBD.

Not signing KK is a failure of Jim and MON. As stated many times before, These guys are amateurs. It’s one thing signing over the hill forwards such Debelin and Ron Massey cup players (which they exceed in) but the test in convincing top line talent to sign with us.

I think Drown at his best is objectively better than Pezet, but in the context of replacing 2025 Dylan Brown with 2026 Jonah Pezet, it might actually be a net gain because Drown was so far off his best this year.

Lomax is the real loss. We won’t be replacing him next year but hopefully his cap space can be put to good use with contract extensions. I’d say half of it went to Iongi’s upgrade, which isn’t any sort of gain for 2026 but it at least keeps us out of a bidding war next November. He will be a star.
