For him to sign it, it shoud cost starting NRL prop salary from year 1 to elite in year 3 at a minimum (both +10%).....otherwise I'd tell him to put himself on the market.

An aggressive recruitment team would now be looking at Galvin’s manager ( Isaac Moses) and suggesting it would be good for the player to move to another club to actually play his best position, 5/8. Not tempting fate, doubt that’s in the thought process of our gurus.

I'm not saying this approach is morally right. I'm simply describing what his manager is paid to do.

U can argue the flipside - the unknown of exactly what hell be offered but assuming a lot. So probably enough for him to get overpaid too. I do agree theyll prob wait though

Except when he is one of 11 kids.....and the future main breadwinner for the family. Of course he is going to try and get the most he can! Daresay in his situation money is more important than loyalty!

The only player that looks like they will make it is tuivati. If you aren’t playing first grade before you turn 20 you are basically cooked. Won’t be a “good” player. We overrate our juniors. If they were good they would be in first grade. It’s not like our team is stacked with stars so these young guns can’t get a run. The fact is they just aren’t that good.

McLean is wildly special. $1mil for 4 years would be a steal for how good that kid will be.

Side note. I can’t help but watch Penrith in awe. What a phenomenal football side. Their ability to reinvent, reshape and continue to be the fittest side on the planet is great to watch.
