I'd prefer they kept Russell for starters and went elsewhere than Kelly. Would have been better to get a 2nd row option like Capewell who can play centre in a pinch but will fill our threadbare forward pack ranks.

Kurt Capewell is off contract end of 2026 as is Ryan Matterson. That's an easy swap and I'd pay overs with JDB's 2027 money.
