Massoud is always on the money as well, he's as good as gone.
Kelly for 3 more years now........
I thought someone said Corey knocked back a 3 year 1.8 million offer from Penrith?

I don't believe we would have low balled him that much. That's literally half what Foran is on. I don't think BA is that unrealistic

I've said it before I tend to stay out of conversations involving salaries as I wouldn't have a clue. However I would have thought 700 would have been a starting point and the final offer finishing somewhere between there and 800. Of course there is always the chance a desperate team throws huge money at him but all things being even then between 700 and 800 seems feasible to me
Just make the numbers up like everyone else mate
Seriously, at this point the player's manager will be nudging and winking and leaking (probably dishonestly) to attempt to maximise the deal wherever it may be. I'd not worry too much.
 Sorry mate i was just taking the piss, i doubt Corey is going anywhere. They must of ran out of BS stories to bag the club with so Joshie boy starts up a rumour they Norman isn't staying.Massouds always on the money? :sarcasm: Apparently Corey knocked back our 3 year, 1.8M offer. Surely an extra 100k a year will sway him to stay?
I don't either, we have a lot of blokes off contract next year, and surely we have enough to give him the 800k he reportedly wants.
Typical Massoud "Norman has rejected the offer, and Parramatta don't have anymore money to offer him due to the salary cap mess"
Not sure we need to read too much into the article, with DA apparently out of the picture, would seem that BA and Peter Sharp will assume authority as negotiators
We should be confident if BA wants him, we will retain him
:lol:Apparently he is hanging around with Andrew gee
EELS
MICHAEL Gordon has recaptured his best form at Parramatta, now the fullback is set to extend his contract beyond this season. Gordon only signed a one-year contract coming over from Cronulla, but his manager Paul Sutton confirmed the veteran No.1 was keen to open talks with the Eels about a longer stay.
“Mick has been playing well and he wants to have a couple more years,” Sutton said.
