The most amazing thing is that people still listen to Nu Metal

Agreed. The whole attitude of "let's tune our guitar down to B and see if we can find the Brown note", coupled with "maybe it would be cool to be a bit amplified and gangsta" was a shitty combination of epic shitty proportions (with extra servings of shit).

Anyone who thought it was acceptable in 1998 needed their heads read. The 2 or 3 people in 2016 that still like it? Well, there is no hope for them and they should be quietly removed from the population.

Korn are tuned to A, actually......

They released their first album in 94 too.

You can do me the favour of removing me from the population any time you please as well, it would be greatly appreciated!

I picked 98 because that appeared to be when every f**ker and his dog was nu metalling it up and Ross Robinson was on everybody's speed dial.

Even Slayer released an album that year that had a lot of down tuned guitars. Fortunately though, Tom Araya didn't start wearing his cap backwards but it was a close call.

...and the Brown note, I could have sworn it was B?

Caring Thaiday

Dressed only in his black underpants Sam Thaiday made a beeline straight for the Eels' change room post game. Moments after full-time he was concerned about one thing – the wellbeing of Corey Norman. It's why Thaiday is one of the most popular players in the game. Talks have started between Norman and the Eels and the aim is to keep him at the club. But he won't come cheap – there is an asking price of around $850,000. He'd get that money on the open market. The Eels' ability to pay that much may depend in part on Anthony Watmough's future.

I miss the days of half, Marshall and Maroubra..... At least they were funny. Some of these wannabe comedians are f**king ordinary.

Must be hard when an average half commands 500k. And a half decent one gets 700+
In comparison a forward can sit on 150k and be a solid no frills first grader.

HAyne for 1.2 looks ok now :p

the brown note is a theoretical note that cannot be achieved

B is just a chord that is rarely used
