Agreed, I mentioned it earlier he doesn't seem to be hitting the line as hard as he should. Maybe because he needs to play bigger mins the coach wants him to temper the inner merkin in him??? Or maybe his shoulder still isn't 100%

Moeroa looks like he's prioritising consistency and work rate in defence, above attack or big hitting tackles at the moment.

Possibly coach's instructions, given his shift to the middle and future plans? He's not making the highlights reel, but I'm happy with his contributions.
