I do love how he spends pretty much the entire article talking about what an awesome squad we have, despite a lack of depth in the front row (which would be quite shallow if you didn't realise Junior Paulo plays for us), and then picks us to finish in the bottom 6.

Also love how he says "the eels will improve but so will other sides who missed the 8 last year". Does that mean every team is going to improve at the same rate and none will be worse off than last year?

These predictions are normally always ridiculous.
I'm with Barry. Let them all predict us to be crap. It will be even better when we prove them wrong.

Even better is that it looks like we'll be proving them wrong with Luke Kelly or Mitch Cornish at halfback!

This morning on Triple M, they recapped the show yesterday when Kieran spoke to the boys, and Johns was blowing smoke up Tepai's arse - yet Tepai doesn't start?

I do not have a problem not being picked for the top 8.
TAB does have more then 8 teams infront of us as well. I reckon there are 13 teams who would be dissapointed not to make the 8. DO the sums. We follow parra so we know a little more about our players. Other supporters look at guys like Gordon/scott as has beens. They see Mannah as a powder Puff. They see guys like KE-MANU-Gower-Terepo-Jnr-Taka-wicks as average first graders.
Many do not rate Norman . Most of friends i know talk about Peats as the player they would want from our team and Tepai. Plenty do not see them play as much as we do so do not know how good we can be or are about to be.
But keep in mind their clubs also have players we do not know how good they can be to ;)
