Those two sitting together doesn't fill me with confidence, the only one missing is board member Dennis Burgess.

Maybe Ben Elias too could join the circus and of course Brooksy as he's already admitted he doesn't know what's going on.

So are we thinking Sezer at 7, Sullivan at 6?

We have a good set of forwards and some reasonable backs, with competition for spots, which gives us depth.

So what could go wrong for Benji next year?

For me, last game showed we weren’t putting the cue in the rack, so they have the game, just need to bring it more than a few times a year.

Doesn't look too bad. Admitedly this is from about 3 years ago but still...

Our forwards, with a season playing together under their belts and a full preseason, will be one one the better NRL packs in 2024 and that should help our new halves.

I saw that Dennis Burgess bloke at the Tommy day at Lidcombe oval yesterday.
While I admittedly was about 8 schooners deep before I got there . . . in real life he looks .. . well, not like you'd expect a board member to look. He looks like he lead a full and colourful life.

Injuries, especially long term injuries in key positions. But that's always a threat and there's not a lot you can do about them apart from pray it never gets as bad as it did for Potter in 2014, when we were starting second rowers on the wings and running out our fourth string fullback.

That being said, I'm much more optimistic for next season than I was this time last year, especially now our spine is settled with Sezer and Sullivan confirmed and that Sheens won't be here.

Sezer is getting in but he’ll be good for us, Sullivan on the other hand needs to improve 300% to be worthwhile, it’s not beyond him but he really needs to grow up quickly.

Age effects speed more than anything. I see a lot of Sezer in Hastings. Let's hope he brings us a little more organisation to our attack.
