I can’t believe he’s going on a holiday now considering our predicament & the fact he gets a nice long break from the 1st week of September.
He can't do much at training if he is the only one there due to an NRL agreement.‘Would Wayne do this?’: Benji Marshall grilled over Fiji holiday as glaring Tigers ‘crisis’ laid bare

I wasn’t taking much notice, I thought he was heading over to England to meet up with Richo?
He’s gone on f**king holidays to Fiji with his family.
Unbelievable.
I thought he said in the post game interview it was good we had the bye week to work on some things with the team.
The lowlife coward Rothshit is fixated on Richo. Its glaringly obvious that Richo is in Uk for work trying to fix up the gargantuan mess Rothshits mates the fedora wearing narcissist & his sidekick Pascoe made.Richos work related trip is beyond reproach. However imo I’d rather Benji had gone for a small break closer to home.Certainly not great optics for a greenhorn coach presiding over a struggling team to b going overseas mid season. He can't do much at training if he is the only one there due to an NRL agreement.
There are going to be plenty more beat ups from Buzz and Braith. This was highlighted by Braith asking if Richo really is in England or at a Greek island resort. It was based on nothing with his get out statement " I just don't know. "
Does Braith do the entire show with a vibrater up his arse? I really don't know.

All this is well and good, if your team is performing, we are not.
He has the off season to have holidays.
If the players are having a few days off, then the coaching team have the opportunity to sit around and work out how they can improve the team, obviously what they are doing is not working.
Our performances are horrible, the optics are terrible, he’s holidaying while we are facing a 3 peat.
Not good enough, imo.
Too right. You get a 2 month break after the season is over and then another couple of weeks around Xmas / New Years. That's much more than the average punter gets.Santa Claus doesnt take leave at xmas , NRL officials shouldnt take leave during the nrl season.
Really just so they are doing something..how is that going to help..It’s a long season this is a bye week the petrol tank for most of them will be on low..It’s more dumb right now to not take a break..And then they will suffer later on when they are really under the pump, then you’ll be even more “I told you so”! ….One week…out of ten consecutive months. Any punter will benefit from that. Any company would benefit from that. It’s low risk high reward. Resting is a proven formula in the game. Use it cleverly coz there’s a thin line between tough and dumb....Again it’s bye week! chillthe coaches can start game planning for the coming weeks. At the very least they can do a review and try to understand why we couldn't score in a brothel, and you know, maybe fix it. Draw up some plays. Do some f**kin thing.
Agree, you would have to forgo your life during the season, he’d probably be on $500k to somewhere towards a $1m, he would know that, his wife would know that.Too right. I know the players have a few days off and no one is there but the coaches can start game planning for the coming weeks. At the very least they can do a review and try to understand why we couldn't score in a brothel, and you know, maybe fix it. Draw up some plays. Do some f**kin thing.
When the only good thing you can say about the team is that they aren't giving up, well that's not good. On paper, we have a pack that should at least be holding their own for most of the game.
I've tried to be optimistic about the whole Benji coaching thing, and to give him a chance. I said when this whole thing was first announced that what made Benji great as a player was unique to him and couldn't be coached. I'm standing by that more and more as the season progresses.
Sure everyone wants a good work / life balance but this isn't some job flipping burgers at the local maccas. It's more than a full time job, and if he can't or won't devote his entire being to it then let someone who will have a crack. No shame in saying that he gave it a go but the amount of time he'd need to dedicate to it can't be balanced against loss of family time.
The results indicate that there may be some truth to it?I was'nt going to mention this as it is 2nd hand info so i cant vouch for its accuracy.
From a Weststigers employee within lets say their pathways dept stated that player x was annoyed that when arriving early to training there were none of the coaching group there , and as a result of this type of culture and attitude from above the players werent getting trained hard enough and he personally was putting on weight and becoming unfit.
Certainly not very professional if true .
Secondly it probably doesnt say much about the player involved as a decent player with any pride would utilise that time to push himself to acheive his own personal fitness levels regardless of who is at the COE facility.
I guess it could also mean the players are set low standards so they behave accordingly.
Yea I think when the foxtel presenters disappear for a week or two they are just rotating onto the cleaners duty’s. Cleaning toilets, emptying rubbish bins etche’ll be back in the media?
He won’t get a mid season break then either.
