They don't feel he suits their direction over the next few years and they want a war chest for 2026.
Interestingly, he's a Samoan International, with Luai & Skelton.
So IF, we were interested, we have a good hook to get him? provided we have the cap space available?
Still like to know, why the rorters are getting rid of him though?

I've seen a fair few rorters games this year and think May goes good. He'd be a good buy at around $500k, no more. He'd be better than Klemmer or Twal.

I wonder if his release has anything to do with his (alleged) wife beating brother, formerly from the foot of the mountain? Maybe he's been vocal about something there other than just supporting his brother in general terms?

It would seem strange he doesn't fit into their plans for 2025 (at least) with all the players they've lost, particularly JWH and Tupanua. You'd think they'd be looking to expand his role.

Interesting. It seems the rorters are trying to sell a bill of goods. There'd be plenty of research and due diligence to do before signing him. If there's no skeletons in the closet, I'd look to sign him.

He's supposedly on a contract worth 950k across 2 seasons? Not sure if that is $475k a year or not.
It doesn't make sense.

But, I think if Luai thought he was worth it, he would be OK, if we could afford him?

Richos latest cash making scheme:

I reckon he’s given his grandkid 10 cents to model the jersey. Hell get another 10 cents next year with the kid’s managers’ option after that.

I’d have to ground my lad for 2 months before he’d wear our cap hiding under his bed.

But that’s what you get with teenage panther fans who like country and western music -not even his parents understand that.

We’ve gone horribly wrong somewhere.

He’s getting a Wests Tigers membership for Christmas whether he likes it or not. I’ll surprise him and put the membership sticker on his bike.

A memory to cherish when I’m gone after our 32nd spoon.

For players available 2025 season I'd be looking at getting May and Addo-Carr across.

May is an obvious choice. Gun player. Penrith system. Young with a big future ahead.

Addo Carr was always destined to finish his career at Wests Tigers. I've said it for years. Him and Olam together were unstoppable at Melbourne. Let's f**king recreate that shit.

For the off contract players available for 2026 season I'd be throwing a big cheque at Nikora and make a good offer for Hetherington.

We all know how it rolls

AD plays with us and by fate, does another acl on his first tackle.

Signs with the Dragons and scores 20 against us and is a dally m finalist.

As night follows day.

I’m ok with May but I want a national police check and a letter from the police commissioner of NSW saying he’s not under investigation.

And with May, prior to talks, we need to check he’s not subject to any outstanding warrants and/or if he’s on bail, nothing but reporting conditions that suit our training and match schedule.

It’s nothing personal, strictly business.
