So Brandon Smith is on the outer at Roosters and is looking for a new club. He also wants to stay in Sydney to continue with his podcast with James Graham. He wouldn't be commanding anywhere near what he signed to Roosters on, and I'm sure they would chuck in a chunk of cash for 2026 to get him off the books.

If he was willing to play lock, like a Cam Mcinnes style role, I reckon he would slot very well into our squad. When he was at Melbourne he was an awesome one-two punch with C. Smith (and also Grant) and I could imagine him doing the same with Api.

Might seem silly, but sillier things have happened at WT
No thanks to BS.He has severe gambling probs & seems to b mentally unstable. Its quite telling that Bellyache didn’t want him & now the rorters can’t wait to see the back off him.We certainly don’t need any toxicity & we were lucky enough to recently fk off a major destabiliser in the grub Bateman.

Yeah, I got shit odds for us coming in the top 8, they were like we do it every year.
I just think that we have been down so long, that we have forgotten what success looks like.
It will happen, so it may as well be now.
We have got some exceptional players coming in this season and have kept a lot of the good players from last season, so there should be no excuses why we can't markedly improve our position.
We are strong and have depth all over the park.
But the fact is, most clubs have that one solid player who makes them shine. We now have one in Luai.
TBH, I think if we don't make the 8, then it has been another poor year, and the coach should rightly be in the crosshairs.
I still don't think we have the goods to makes the 8.....but we damn well should improve on a rage of levels.

1. Our centres are not great or consistent first graders.
2. Glad we got Skelton.....but I don't have full confidence in the man yet.
3. Klemmer on big bucks and not producing the goods.
4. A back rower spot is VERY wide open.....I don't think we can fill it adequately. Jack Bird is a broken down bum (we paid him too much) and Seyfarth seems more like a mid to me. We have f**k all depth in the back row.

The biggest lack of confidence to me is our coaching staff. I do want to be wrong.

Big fan of Sione, he makes my 17 every day of the week. Good movement for a big guy, great footwork and a bit of a passing game too. Needs to work on his overall D and fitness but there’s certainly a first grade there
Yeh I'm keen on this footballer too Vic but he's not a true middle imo. Instead he's a player in the mould of Pole.
Still he's better than the KOE Cup std players that our squad used to be full of.
I'm really hoping for a solid performance from Klemmer as he needs to step up until we can find someone better.

Agree, re: Klemmer at his best will be great for us, it’s up to him, or his career might be over.

The over the hill pissweak bludger Klemmer has no choice but to have a dig in order for him to convince the club to exercise option in contract for ‘26 season.I think he has to play at least 14 games this season for contract to b triggered for ‘26.

Contract year tend to bring out their best, as a rule.

He’s signed here to 2026, I don’t think they are allowed to make offers until November this year.
Besides, not sure if he will go anyway.

Yeh, if true, and I know Richo has spoken about this, they should be fined heavily.
However you know as well as I do that this is hard to police.
What I'm led to believe is a manager talks to some club unofficially and kept quiet then the manager leaks it to the media who is in earshot down the pub then it's supposedly unofficially official :)
I don't know what the NRL can do other that sue the media but that won't happen since the media have money invested in the game.
I'm having a haircut today so I'll get the good oil from my barber's mother's cousin's neighbour's uncle if this rumour has substance.

Twitter reporting that the Roosters are preparing a huge deal for Galvin.
Isaac the Cnt Moses has arguably the most lucrative asset in NRL on his books. His unscrupulous MO is glaringly obvious & Richo should b all over it when negotiating with the wretched prick re Galvins contract
