DRagons are desperate to re-sign aswell which is saying how good he is so we are going to have to match their offer or pay more - probably around 500k

Considering we are probably losing Woods and Ava, Packer and Matulino are definitely more than capable replacements

Lol people definitely weren't wrong when they said Cleary will bring a lot of ex Penrith and warriors players that's for sure

He's Clearly (pardon the pun) well respected amongst his peers

So vent and let it go. Move on.

The club will.
Edit: they already have.

And the new no nonsense, management and coach in charge attitude is something long overdue. We can put all this media speculation and he said she said bullshit behind us and finally start everyone moving in the same direction at the same time.

Get on board

I won't ever let it go. f**k those guys. I have never seen players be as big dogs as those 3 merkins.

I agree on the management of the club now but they've really been put into this shit situation by those 3 merkins. Guys that should show some gratitude to the club have treated the club like dirt.

Players can leave. That is going to happen. Look at Reynolds leaving the dogs. Their fans aren't pissed of with him because he has left basically because he had too. We've got guys leaving despite being offered great contracts and we've been extremely patient.

In stating all of that this is just a team I support. It won't change my life much if at all. I have an easy job, my health is great, at 43 I still do jiu-jitsu regularly and take my beatings like a man, financially I'm well off (mainly because I'm frugal) and I should be retired easily before 50, I have 3 great kids, a wife who is probably less of a pain in the ass than most wives and overall a f**ken great life.

I like what Graham said in his interview on Reynolds leaving. Yes it's a business and all the rest of it but it's also a team that you support and love.

I don't expect to win every season or anything like that. I just want the club to have guys there with the ability to jag some wins and maybe a comp every 20 years or so. Players like Nofo are the players that I can respect. Seeing guys act like these merkins has done my head in. Fittler said it as well the other day - it's just not right.

It's also just money. If you offer a reasonable more than the other club players will leave. At this point lots of clubs are going to be in salary cap trouble as well so they can't offer any more than what they initially state.

I read Parra stating that can't offer Peats and Hayne top dollar. It's just the way it is.

Lol so you reckon we'd be signing these players with Taylor still at the helm. Rightoo

Then you do what you feel is best.

I don't get this comment. I've been on board for years and that will never change. You won't see me changing my stripes ever.

I think we wouldn't have but not because of Cleary being the figurehead per se. We signed McQueen prior to Clearly coming on board. I think Cleary has quickly realised that we were going to screwed if we kept pandering to these guys and he and the club made a decision to move on. It was definitely the right decision to be made.

I also think that this season would have been a disaster if we retained Taylor. Taylor was a dud coach in so many ways. Poor game plans. Betting the farm on 4 guys of which 1 is a really high quality player and 1 is decent. The other 2 are still just potential.

Jarryd HAYne, SBW, Karmichael merkin were all bigger dogs just ask the respective clubs fans

I think these guys were just as bad as the merkins we have at the club now. I also think other clubs think this is the case as well.

I'm not even sure that those guys are as bad as the three that we've had at our club. Those guys left for various other reasons. Yes SBW is the biggest dog of all time. They are bad. We've just never had such merkins as the 3 that we've had on board.

I'd love Graham to be here, but he'd be loyal as f**k to the Dogs and that's one of his redeeming qualities. He is loose on the pitch at times and allows his emotion to get the better of him but he's a true leader, something that we could do with.

Still f**king shits me that we nearly had him.

To be fair there's no doubt 05 is on board.

And nothing wrong with having a few people on the bus with a chip on their shoulder. We all handle these things differently.

I was so f*cking dirty on them all at first and I still think they're dogs. But by God I'm glad it happened now. This is the most excited I've ever been about the Tigers. With Ivan here and seeing all these new players come in is so cool. We've never been in this position.

I honestly think our culture is in the process of receiving a complete overhaul. Let's not forget the Sharks were a complete basket case just a few years ago and look at them now. With some astute decisions from the top, things can turn around really quickly.

I'm also glad this happened and I agree it's a massive culture overhaul as well. I also think we've now got a good coach and that makes a massive difference.

We are really putting out the trash and rebuilding from a position of strength. It's freaken great.

hilariously plastered with images of Woods, Tedesco and Moses. Be warned.

Nope, but with all the positives for the future, couldn't be stuffed moaning about the players that have made a decision to be part of the past, one of bickering, infighting and dirty managers using players as pawn to line their pockets.

Seeyas.

We've NEARLY had numerous quality players. However under Ivan we r attracting & will continue to attract quality.Im not one to b premature re my predictions but we r genuinely back as a respectable entity. All thanks to the appointment of someone with invaluable experience in reviving a corpse someone with the requisite footy smarts to make optimum decisions someone who is an exceptional man manager & displays humility.

Another important aspect of the job where Ivan has it all over that imbecile we endured over the last few yrs is how media savvy he is.No need to cringe anymore whenever our coach is in front of a microphone.Geez Taylor was a paranoid infantile gump !
